Department of Eagles


Following up on Grizzly Bear, here is a band which shares a member but makes decidedly different music. Department of Eagles is Daniel aka "Iron Chrysalis" and Fred aka "Butterfly Emerging," a duo "designed to expand your conception of what exactly it means to be inside the mothafuckin' rhythm, dig?" If it helps, according to my limited musical vocabulary they sound like DJ Shadow. That's a good thing! And know that they made their debut radio appearance on the esteemed KDVS, my university's station. Go to their music page to hear some of their performance.
