One more re: Merge
This American Life played a lovely Portastatic song in between the first two acts of last week's show ("Nobody's Family Is Going to Change"). "In the Lines" transcends its crisply-strummed anysong opening with above-average songwriting and that weary voice, perfect in this instance.

first of all, i speek english like tarzan, but where there´s a will there´s a way... i´m from buenos aires, argentina. and i found your blog by accident.. i just want to download the vampire weekends´record. buy suddenly i saw something called "bows and arrows" i´dont understand all of what you talk abaut here, but named "bows and arrows" maked me remember when i was learning english at school... the phrase "bows and arrows" had a particular sound for me..it was funny or something similar..so here i am posting some lines in a blog and i really dont know what i want to say to you...maybe it´s just share that particular feeling of simphaty with somebody far far away from you..it could be that, like a sunny feeling ..i dunno...anyway...you have a friend in buenos aires.
